Kim Conniff

Licensed Massage Therapist and Bodyworker

About Kim
Kim Conniff is a state licensed massage therapist. She attended nationally-renowned and fully-accredited Irene’s Myomassology Institute in Southfield, Michigan where she graduated top of her class in 2009 and is a certified member in good standing with the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP). She continued her education in advanced modalities, including Myofascial Release (John Barns method), Craniosacral Therapy (Upledger Institute), Total Body Balancing ( D’Ambrogio Institute ), and other continuing education courses for advanced bodywork.

Often using multiple modalities in each session, Kim uses an integrated approach to her work and looks for the root cause of a client’s dysfunction, which has proven extremely effective in resolving complex pain syndromes and generalized discomfort so that long-term relief can be obtained. Additionally, she uses only the highest-quality, natural and organic products, including pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils to assist in the healing process.

Kim treats adolescent, adult, and geriatric clients. Additionally, she has over five years’ experience working with clients with severe conditions including quadriplegia, traumatic brain injury, and advanced Huntington’s disease. She accepts automobile and worker’s compensation insurance claims with appropriate documentation.

Formerly a CPA specializing in internal audit in public accounting and private industry, she left Corporate America to focus on her recovery from a serious automobile accident and stress-related illness and to bring balance to her life. Because of her personal experience with chronic pain and dis-ease, she has an intuitive understanding of her clients’ conditions and is devoted to helping others manage stress and achieve pain-free lifestyles.

Kim is heavily involved in various philanthropic activities, including I Care of Michigan (Advisory Board Member), the Huntington's Disease Society of America—Michigan Chapter, and the American Cancer Society.

Services Offered
Kim uses only the highest-quality, natural products, including pure, 100% therapeutic-grade essential oils during all sessions. Essential oils are derived from various plant materials (e.g. herbs, trees, shrubs, etc.) and have been documented to help reduce inflammation, relieve pain, detoxify lymph, and calm the nervous system, among other benefits; they greatly enhance each session and often help achieve quicker results. However, if you are allergic to anything, please let her know so that she can select only those oils or other products that are suitable for you.

You will receive the full time (e.g. 60 or 90 min) on the table; Kim believes you should get every bit of what you paid for and doesn’t charge you for dressing and undressing like other facilities. Therefore, your total session time will be your table time plus 10 minutes or so to disrobe and redress after the session. The only thing that will cause your table time to be reduced is being late for your appointment.
